Revolution: Jesus Christ-Part Four

by Mary Beth on December 18, 2015

“He is the image of the invisible God, the first born of all creation.

For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth,

visible and invisible,

whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-all things

were created through him and for him.

And he is before all things, and in all things hold together.

And he is the head of the body, the church.

He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead,

that in everything he might be preeminent.

For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things,

whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of the cross.

And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds,

he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death,

in order to present you holy and blameless, and above reproach before him,

if indeed you continue in the faith,

stable and steadfast,

not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard,

which has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven…” Colossians 1:15-23

Pray God will be restored, in all hearts to His rightful place.

Proclaim the gospel of Christ; for His glory and renown!

Jesus Christ is Propositional Revelation and Revolution.

If we have forgotten our end, turn and listen to God in all creation and His Word, keep and do them.

“In that day man will look to his Maker,

and his eyes will look on the Holy One of Israel.

He will not look to the alters,

the work of his hands, and he will not look on what his own fingers have made…

For you have forgotten the God of your salvation and have not remembered the Rock of your Refuge.”

Isaiah 17:7, 10

“For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as the Lord our God is to us,

whenever we call upon him?  And what great nation is there, that has statutes and rules so righteous as all this law that I set before you today?

Only take care, and keep your soul diligently,

lest your forget the things that your eyes seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life.”

Deuteronomy 4

Created in the image of God; to glorify Him as image bearers.

This is our purpose of existence, innate dignity and meaning to life.

Glorify God and enjoy Him forever!

Turn to Jesus Christ this Christmas, and into 2016?!

“then a throne will be established in steadfast love and on it will sit in faithfulness

in the tent of David,

one who judges and seeks justice

and is swift to do righteousness.”  Isaiah 6: 5
