You’re Faithful and Holy,
So grateful, My Lord.
In tender mercy, you’ve kept your part,
A Divine response, to my human heart.
Chosen, freed and desired for your treasured dwelling,
You’re my resting place eternal.
Make it your home of desire, a lions’ den
As you, my Lord, have spoken.
Abundantly, I’ve been blessed,
With the bread of Life to satisfy.
Clothing me with salvation and joy!
Life taught in holiness;
Life’s buoy above the noise.
Lord, it is your Presence
That makes my face radiant.
While my enemies are dressed with dishonor
The crown of life, I’ll wear with splendor.

Psalms 132: 11-18
2 Corinthians 1:20
While the Christmas season shouts with activity and celebration,
my soul yearns deeply for His eternal embrace.
As I reflect on Jesus and his mother Mary,
how she would ponder things in her heart.
This Advent season,
may I ponder in my heart and in a little time of solitude:
What is it that I hear as angels did on high?
Am I listening to the divine Presence of Christ our Lord?
Where have I placed my trust and rest this season,
with our Immanuel, God with us?
May the Spirit of God give us ears to hear and open our hearts to see,
a renewed sense of wonder and purity as a child.
Come, oh come our Immanuel!
