Able To Wait

  Faithful, purified remnant

 Able to wait attentively, expectant.

 Receiving a promise is movement

From something, to something more.

Learning to nurture the moment; active

in the present.

Not entangled in fears or wishes of

control, but open-ended.

Trust deeply, waiting heart, listen and rest

content.       ~mba

Our culture and society tends to move fast, efficient, and outward. Yet, as God’s children, He calls us to wait on the Spirit and stand confident in His Word; His promises that are life. His love, timing and embrace cover more activity within and without, than business we see so much of in our generation.

“Wait for the Lord; be strong
and take heart and wait for the Lord.”  ~Psalms 27:1
